3DBOARDG2-I Installation Instructions
Preparation:
1.Wall surface preparation
a. The condition of wall surface must be flat, dry, clean, smooth, and solid, Before you apply 3d board,the basic wall surface should be painted with emulsion paint
b. Aged wall surfaces must be smoothened painted with water-based seal primer to compact the loose surface layer.
c. Make sure the working area is clean and ventilated, keep the windows open if required.
2. Preparation for the commodity.
Open the box, put the panels on the floor for 24 hours to balance the moisture between the panel and the environment to prevent excessive expansion or contraction after installation.

Additional material required

1. Acrylic water-based wood putty
2. Acrylic water-based PU wood paint
3. Acrylic water-based wood seal primer
4. Adhesive( Titebond From USA recommended)
Installation steps
Measure the wall and plan the design.
1. Measure and mark vertically and horizontally the area of installation.
2. Select a pattern for installation. Arrange it on the floor by rotating the panels before attempting to install ensuring correct installation of the desired pattern.
3. If the area for installation is not square, or just meet the connection of the circuit,the panels can be cut with the knife.
Adhere with all-purpose adhesive glue
(Titebond made in USA recommended).
1. Apply the all-purpose adhesive glue every 30mm to 50 mm onto the back side of panel. Especialy on the edge of the panels, the point of the glue must be 5mm inside against the edge in order to avoid the glue overflow.
2. Apply glue (Titebond) onto back side of panel, allow glue to half cure, place and press panel to wall according to the layout. For other kinds or brand of glue, please follow the instruction indicate in the glue packaging.
3. Allow approximate 1.5mm gap between panels for adjustment. Apply tile cross if needed as panels may distort by room humidity.
4. Press panel to wall ensure all its corners and edges adjoin the wall surface, avoid strong pressure on the relief parts. It will be better to set aside one hour for drying, then move to the next step.
5. Use exacto knife or sandpaper to clean the gaps to ensure all the gaps is smooth and neat. Be careful of the edges of panels.
Priming
1. Paint the surface with water-based primer in order to seal the surface and maintain the panels dry, so that expansion and contraction can be reduced. It will be better if panels are painted twice.
2. It will take minimum of two hours to dry, and it will take more time in winter and wet seasons.
Fill the gaps.
1. Fill the gaps with acrylic emulsion caulking along in one direction. The caulking must be water-based and paintable
2. It usually takes two hours to ensure the caulking is dry enough. Then use sandpaper (120-300MU) or dry cloth clean the gaps to ensure that all the gaps are smooth and flat.
3. The Acrylic Emulsion Caulking can also be used to repair flaws, holes, and defects of the panels.
Painting.
1. Make sure the surface is dry and clean. Brush or spray the wall with water-borne wood paint. Use of masking tape is recommended for protection.It is recommended to paint twice, then let it dry for a minimum of 2 hours, if the humidity is over 60%, it may require more time.
2. Selection of paint colors:
Paints of designated color can be processed by professionals.
painting by using of spray gun (Alternative method)
For better result, it is recommended to use spray gun to paint the entire wall at once in order to achieve a more smooth and even finishe.
We suggest to use of spray gun by Earlex, it is small and convenient, and it does not pollute to the environment, as less paint required for the same application.
